The town of Belmont, NH engaged Lavallee Brensinger Architects to study options for the renovation and expansion of several town spaces, including the police department. The two options examined involved constructing a second floor of the existing building, or constructing a new building for the department at an adjacent site. The committee concluded the best approach to resolving the space needs of police would be to tear down the Corner Meeting House on the abutting lot.

This project passed bond vote in March of 2020
