Resilient Crisis Cube
The Resilient Crisis Cube is a part of the Capstone project, Disaster Preparation, Response and Recovery through Resilient Thinking completed while studying at the Boston Architectural College.
Magazine Street Development
A four story, 24,000 square foot apartment complex located on magazine street in New Orleans's Lower Garden District. Includes 26 residential units of varying sizes, 6 retail spaces including a deli/grocery, a public courtyard, a gym for residents, a laundry room, a recreation room, a private pool, 32 parking spaces and a greenroof area. The project was for a comprehensive studio and a CD set was also completed
Nashua Technological High School
The intent behind the design of the high school was to focus more on classes, with specialties in shop and computer courses. It was designed to fit into an under construction neighborhood in Nashua, NH. Designed for 1,000 students, the school includes classroom which embrace various styles of dynamic learning, including traditional, lecture, and group focused classes. Louisiana Governor’s Mansion Patio
The patio was a project completed with the Louisiana Office of State Buildings. The project was collaborated on with then governor Kathleen Babineaux– Blanco and was her parting gift to the mansion. The design focuses on a centralized fleur– de-lis which includes the governor’s family and the state seal.
Moon Base Capital
The Moon Capital design was submitted for a competition with the goals of creating a second generation living and working habitat on the moon. The capital consisted of spaces from surface agriculture domes to below grade living clusters. The main design features a winding jogging path which intersects the domes, creating an ever changing view, a two story atrium space connecting the surface and below grade spaces, and compartmentalized living clusters which can be closed off for emergency life support. Each agricultural surface dome featured a light well centered over a living cluster or other major working and support spaces to provide natural light underground.
Old World Christmas Market
The Christmas market is fashioned off of the traditional markets held annually in Germany featuring handmade trinkets, treats and toys. The Nashua Market was proposed to open in November of 2011 in Nashua, NH but has yet to come to fruition
Nicaragua Tropical Beach House
The Nicaragua Tropical Beach House was completed for a design competition. The goal was to create a contemporary vacation house that was a single story and an open plan featuring two bedrooms. The restrictions were the site boundary of about 14m x 30m. The site faced west towards the Pacific Ocean. The design features a main deck facing the living room, a sunken living room/kitchen area, a dining area and two lofted bedrooms.
The Getty Cottage was designed with the styles and concepts of Richard Meier in mind. Located in Avon, CT, the cottages is for a visiting professor to live in for one semester. The concept of this project is that it is set up as a grid for simplicity and that the main circulation through the site starts at the driveway entrance and passes through the cottage to the outdoor deck.
Bleu Marbe Hotel and Casino
The Bleu Marbe is located in old downtown Las Vegas off of Fremont Street. The project had to be LEED certified and incorporate design strategies and ideas learned about Las Vegas. The program included 2,250 hotel rooms, 200 retail spaces, a casino, three dinner theaters, five restaurants, a convention and conference center, a subway station and support services for the primary spaces. The 71st floor consisted of a rotating restaurant and a rooftop observation deck above that would provide a unique panoramic view of the city. The Bleu Marbe obtained a hypothetical Gold level of LEED certification.
